  1. call banks

  2. The best place to look for these are on the fannie mae or freddie mac website. They have a section for bank owned properties. You can also identify the values you are looking for and # of bedrooms/bathrooms.

Let me know if you can’t locate websites…I think I have them saved, I will email them to you.

  3. You can be wasteful with your time, go to all the banks websites and find properties you are interested in – then the bank will tell you to call the Realtor that sells their houses for them. The Realtor representing the bank, and who has a fiduciary responsibility to get the best (highest) sales price for his client (the bank).

Or, you can be wise and find a buyer’s agent who has MLS access (where all the VA, HUD and bank owned properties will be listed) and who will have a fiduciary duty to YOU, the buyer to get the best (lowest) sales price.

Do it how you think would work best.
